The new, lower-cost, version of the drug, Zithromax, will be available for $5.99 a month for its US retail price of $17.99, while the brand-name version, Z-Pak, will cost $13.99.
The first of the two new Zithromax Z-Pak packs, called Zithromax, will cost $13.99 a month for the same amount of the brand-name drug and will be available for a reduced price tag of $4.99 a month for that same amount. The brand-name drug will cost about $10 a month for the same amount of the Z-Pak product, while the generic version is just $5.99.
“We are very pleased with the new pricing and the introduction of this new product,” said Dr. Steven Nissen, the president, chief executive officer and president of the U. S. Risks and Benefits of Treatment with Zithromax

It is not known whether Zithromax is excreted in human breast milk. Your doctor will determine whether Zithromax is suitable for you, and if so, how much.
